After operating my own family child care home,  I served as a board member for the local Partnership for Children.  My family and I then chose to be a foster family instead of child care and I came on board as a family child care specialist.  Over the years my position has been many things, from training coordinator to Program Specialist.

Education

I have completed an Associates Degree in Early Childhood, along with a certificate in Special Needs. I will graduate from Liberty University with a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies with cognates in Education and Special Needs on May 9, 2009.

I start my Master's program in Education on May 11, 2009 with a completion date of August 2010.

Experiences

I have taken several classes in Challenging Behaviors, as well as the Environment Rating Scales.  I am approved to teach Foundations, and Creative Curriculum.  I have had experience teaching a wide variety of classes and look forward to adding many classes to my list in the future.
